Science

We want every student to leave Crispin curious about the world and able to see how science shapes their everyday lives. From Year 7, students build their knowledge of biology, chemistry and physics step by step, with each topic taught in an order that deepens understanding over time. They link their learning to the real world and to science in the news, and hands-on practical investigations become more demanding each year.

We teach students how to learn as well as what to learn: they identify their strengths, act on feedback and take responsibility for their own progress, so they grow in resilience and confidence. Science education is for every student, whatever their background.

Beyond lessons, students take part in STEM clubs, competitions such as VEX Robotics, and science events, and careers are built into our curriculum.
